From the Owner

Nuisance is a 28’ Gold Cup racer built in 2006 by Bill Morgan in Lake George, New York. Bill was the long-time owner ( 1959 – 2004 ) of Hacker-Craft boats.
Sandy first saw Nuisance on the 2011 ACBS – Toronto “Spring tour” at Mike Windsor’s shop in Gravenhurst. Mike was completing a restoration / re-powering project and as Kennedy says, “It was love at first sight !”. Sandy expressed interest in the boat immediately but was told, “That boat will never go up for sale”. Two years later Kennedy owned the boat. ?
Nuisance is a replica of the famous Gold Cup racer “El Lagarto”. She was the three time world champion from the 1930’s that was raced by George Reis. Its unique five step hull was believed to have given it an unfair advantage. Nuisance currently has a supercharged 454 under the hatches and spends it summers on Gloucester Pool in South Muskoka.
