From the Owner

For over 50 years, Albert Maw of Muskoka built and sold cedarstrip canoes at his Northland Canoe Shop on Highway 60, just 10 minutes north-east of Huntsville. Albert’s canoes are works of art. The canoe weighs 55 pounds. Black cherry wood was used for gunwales, thwarts, seats, and decks. The seats are filled with rawhide.
