Carlo Riva, driven with passion, created RIVA BOATS in Sarnico, Italy. His boats became a synonym of elegance, status, and perfection. Having his eye on the American market, he brought this Tritone, hull no. 89 to the 1959 Miami Boat Show, and had great success. But after many years of service, this boat sadly fell into disrepair in the 80’s, and neglect took it’s toll. Upon acquiring this project, Clay and Patty Thompson performed the painstaking 5 year restoration to bring this RIVA back to original. “THUNDERBALL”, one of only 257 built, features beautiful sepele mahogany wood, twin riva crusader engines, a cuddy cabin, a hidden full Egyption cotton convertible top, and has the eye-catching zebra print and turquoise interior, and yes, it too is factory correct.
