From the Owner

The Molded Fiber Glass company got the contact with GM to make the body’s for the first style Corvette .Unfortunately the car was a flop and with very low sales MFG got into building boats to stay afloat. There original plan was to make the glass hull and sell it to a boat company to build the deck but that never worked out so they ended up making the complete boat
