My dad purchased the boat in 1956. We spend many enjoyable hours on the Lake of the Ozarks riding and skiing with the boat.. My wife, Ann and I were dating during our high school years and had much fun with the boat . My dad passed in 1981, but my mother kept the boat in the garage. As you might imagine the gel coat had many spider cracks from the hard use while skiing and riding the waves. My mother and I attended a Falls Flyer gathering in the early 90’s in Little Falls, Mn. and decided to have the boat refurbished when we got home. The interior is still in original condition. This year I located a 30 HP Johnson Javelin outboard which I have had tuned up and repainted. My dad had put a 1962 40 HP Johnson on the boat because he wanted more speed and power. For sentimental reasons, I wanted to restore the boat to the original condition with the Johnson Javelin Motor. Just as my dad purchased.
