A few club members came up with the Idea to show the public how some of these old boats that were left to rot are totally saveable. With the generous donation from Woodwind yachts we had all the wood needed for this project. Our restoration team of Tim Jackson, Murray Parnell, Jeff Souch and John Gullick got to work pulling it apart and restored the starboard side while leaving the port side the way it was found. Murray supplied a trailer and a Johnson QD 10 that were also restored on the right side and Epifanes supplied the varnish. The Half and Half has been on display at the Toronto boat show, Toronto Sportsman show and many summer shows and has been a big hit at them all. Hopefully this boat will save some other boats from being destroyed
