Stan Young built 10 of the 21′ Torpedo Style Boats from 1946 to 1954. Of the 10, the first five differ from the last five in that those last ones had a wider transom, but under the water only, so as not to spoil the torpedo stern shape. This one, hull # 3, is one of 5 left. This design brings the beautiful mahogany to its bending limits to create this beautifully designed hull. Most all of his boats had different power through those years, but this one has a Cal Connell Cadillac 331.
