We all know, the Chris Craft ‘sportsman’, is a very usable and popular model, and in the 25 foot length, certainly the top of the line. Only a couple hundred were produced, not that many considering that is all of them from pre-war and then again produced post-war, till 1950. This one,”SUMMERTIME”, is no. 166, of 1949, and is one of 12 or so to have Twin engines for power. It’s the ‘go to’ boat when there are a lot of folks, as it has room for all, and plenty of power to get them around. Well appointed hardware, and red leather interior, along with great styling make it a true classic. Owned since 2008, Clay and Patty Thompson really enjoy SUMMERTIME, on the lake at Hot Springs, Arkansas
