From the Owner

The Chris Craft was purchased new in 1948 by my wife’s grandfather, Ed Schoen and  named Ellen, after  my wife’s mother.  The boat was delivered to Canandaigua Lake which is where it resides today in a boathouse at our Lake Cottage.  Ellen is raised out of the water when its in the boathouse and was refurbished 6 years ago.  We get Ellen out onto the water often in the summer and perhaps if you’re on the lake you’ll see it cruising.
