From the Owner

Cloud 9 was built by Lloyd Hull in Newboro, Ontario in 1943. For many years she was used by a Mr. Tett to tow logs on Newboro lake and then by the Tett family as a pleasure boat. After many years of dry storage and more years behind a barn she was cut in half to enable transportataion to a dump. The owner suffered pangs of guilt and offered the relic to Ken Wykes of Wykes Boat Works in Harlem, Ontario. With the help of staff and regular volunteers a complete 2 year restoration was undertaken. Cloud 9 was launched and proudly sailed the Rideau to the Rideau Ferry boat Show in 2014.
