From the Owner

My Grandfather bought The Lady Boat from Dukes in 1938. She is in the same slip today she was delivered to in 1938.. She is on her second boat house! The Lady Boat was the boat most family members’ were taught how to drive. Special memories.

In the 50’s, just before my time,  she had a mishap on The Country Club shoal on Lake Rosseau and the bottom was ripped out, which  Dukes replaced. A plethora of buoys appeared after the incident and everytime I go by there it reminds me of the stories I heard about the ‘incident’.

One memory we have in The Lady Boat is a ride with you around the lake following a fund raising event on the Windemere docks. Gary & Jan.
