1937 Port Carling Boatworks 17 Foot Seabird

1937 Port Carling Boatworks 17 Foot Seabird
From the Owner

Boat was purchased at an auction sale.  A full restorations required.  It is similar to a Duke Playmate, with a 25 hp Buchanan Midget engine.  An interesting feature is the mahogany back of the front seat is attache to hinged cast iron brackets which allow it to be folded forward enabling on to step over the seat.  Parry Automotive had the original Buchanan records and were able to inform me the engine was shipped to Port Carling Boatworks on June 30, 1937.
