We found this boat about 2003 in Fenelon Falls where the previous owner had outfitted it as a fishing boat complete with household aluminum cutty cabin.
Bryan began by tearing out everything down to the bare steel hull and installing new gunwales, new framing, teak decks, cedar floorboards, and ash interior turning it from a fishing boat into a picnic launch. Hull dents were left in as they had been earned over the boat’s then-84 year history. A few years later, a canvas dodger was installed as protection against the sun.
This is one of our grandkids’ favourite boats. When they were younger, they would often fall asleep under the dodger while the boat was in motion.
