We came into possession of this boat after my Great Uncle Bert Minett passed away in 1966. It was sitting on his front lawn in Bracebridge and he had actually been working on repairs. His daughter lived in the U.S. and did not want it so she offered it to my father. Ames finished the bow repair and my Dad did all the refinishing after that. This small 20 foot long launch was my mother’s favorite and they nicknamed it the Little One. After Dad died, I sent it to Duke Boats for the first restoration which entailed repairs and refinishing. Then, it had a complete renovation in 2010 which included such things as a new bottom, refinish and upholstery. The engine was also rebuilt by Parry Automotive as it is a very rare 6 cylinder Buchanan Bulldog. It is a very unique launch of its time due to the smaller size.
