Judge James Hannon Jr.of Regina purchased Wascana in 1912, and she resided at the family cottage at Shadow Bay, on Browning Island, Lake Muskoka. The name of the owner(s) between 1927 until 1983 is uncertain, but she flew the burgee of the RCYC so the owner must have been a member and she may have resided in Toronto at some time during this period. In 1983 she moved to Lake Tahoe where she was carefully restored under the supervision of M. Mundshenk who had a lifelong history with wooden boats in Long Island and Lake Tahoe. Her hull was black during this period. In 2004 she returned to Lake Muskoka and was again restored by Dunc Hawkins and Rob Fowler with a new engine and white paint on her hull restoring her to the original colour. She has been owned by Ralph Barford since 2009.
